Your first session is simply about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you here, what you’d like support with, and what you hope to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. You can bring questions, concerns, or anything you feel is important. My goal is to make the experience comfortable, calm, and at your pace.

Fees:
I am currently considered out-of-network from all insurance providers.
Choosing a private pay option has certain benefits for you:
Insurance companies require that you meet “medical necessity” and specific criteria for diagnosing a mental disorder, which is often not needed or relevant to our work. You won’t have a diagnosis label permanently attached to your medical record. Your records are protected, which means that very personal information about you cannot be obtained by your insurance company. Rather than your insurance company dictating your care, you and I can work collaboratively on a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. I will gladly provide you with documentation, called a “super bill”, to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement purposes.
Effective January 1, 2022, federal law requires all healthcare providers (including mental health providers) to provide a Good Faith Estimate Notice to consumers to comply with the No Surprises Act. The Act requires providers to inform their uninsured and private pay patients that they have a right to a “Good Faith Estimate” to help them estimate the expected charges they may be billed.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Please read through the full Terms & Policies document for complete details before beginning services.

Therapy should not be ended casually or abruptly. The termination process is just that - a process. Together, we take a step back and look at the growth that has unfolded over the course of treatment. We will also spend time discussing plans for maintaining your progress.
